Embodied Meditation for solitary self-isolation 2

Hello All. I'd like to offer another very basic and gentle tuning into self. Feel free to pause the video at any point. (click on the YouTube link below) The intention is for us, especially people in self-isolation alone, but anyone else too, to invite a deeper connection with themselves, fill in some of the relating that many are missing. A nice description of learning Focusing.

A good, very accessible, article on Focusing, with some nice anecdotes about Gendlin. If you’ve wondered about what Focusing is all about, this is a nice introduction (and a good article to share with anyone).  https://www.psychotherapynetworker.org/magazine/article/1103/doorways-to-the-embodied-self

Focusing as a gentle way to accept what we feel

Here is a nice introduction to Focusing by friend Dr John Amodeo, American psychologist and writer. It is written for the public, from Psychology Today, and clearly explains the Focusing process and how it can be very helpful for anyone. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/intimacy-path-toward-spirituality/201510/we-want-accept-our-feelings-how-do-we-do-it
