Our London Focusing team hosts our new 2-year training in Focusing, Listening, and Focusing Oriented Therapy practices. A great diverse group of 30 people shared the weekend learning and experiencing together, starting from the basics and the profound practices of human presence and the unfolding bodily process .... London Focusing is planning its next Focusing and Focusing-oriented therapy certification training in the autumn of 2023. The training will be a mix of online and in-person events, culminating in The International Focusing Institute award of Certification as a Focusing therapist or Focusing professional. The training is highly experiential and requires an investment in the practitioner's own self-development and personal growth. I was pleased to present a session on 'thinking from the body', as well as participate on a panel on 'Embodiment' in existential therapy during this large international conference. It was wonderful to meet so many former students and colleagues from around the world.
